I would not consider give much weight to this. People may write or speak differently in different circumstances/purposes. Years ago I used to listen to Dr. McGee on his Saturday Q & A program. Then one day I heard him preach a wonderful Christmas sermon and I neither recognized his voice or style of speaking; I was completely surprised at the end when I found out who I was listening to.
