Order of Study - Bible Books

Post by Quilter2 » Thu Jul 22, 2010 12:45 pm

Hi Steve,
For years I wanted to go to Bible School, and have really appreciated the radio program and mp3s.
It's nice to see I am not the only person who has some of these doctrinal views.
Wanting to do a systematic study, I was wondering what order you did the books of the Bible when
you had the GCS. Was it in book order (Gen, Ex, Lev. etc) or chronological order or was there some other
outline you followed?
Thanks and hope your time in Oregon is going well.
Paula

Hi Paula,

I have gone to Oregon recently, but the school is actually being held in Seattle. In our first module, where we are taking the Pentateuch, we are going through the books essentially in the order of their appearance, with the exception that we studied Job between Genesis and Exodus, on the assumption that the events recorded in the book fall within the patriarchal period. We are simultaneously going through the Book of Mark.

Steve... are you going to making these studies available on-line?

Thanks for posting this link. I found some lectures I had not previously seen, plus the archive of old radio q&a programs. I really like listening to the call in program for driving, doing chores, and have learned (or validated) many things.
Blessings on your continued work for the Lord.
