The news is reporting an alleged sighting in Stephenville Texas.

What do you guys/gals think about the whole UFO thing?

I personally hope they bring back Elvis!! :)

The ones that crashed in New Mexico gave us Velcro, Kevlar, fiber-optics, Donkey Kong, Beanie Babies, the Kay-Tel combination knife-sharpener-and-dog-waxer, and the Internet (Oh, sorry! That was Al Gore—but he looks a little like an alien). I can't wait to see what other goodies the intergalactic Santa Claus may bring this time. Maybe an invisibility cloak! That would be soooo cool! Oops! If they had one of those, they wouldn't have been sighted, would they!

don't forget the fishin' magician and the Clapper.

Lake Erie, near my house, has also been a hotspot for UFOs.

this video is making the rounds:
the guys filming it might be cheech and chong disciples.

joking aside, this topic has interested me since i was a kid. not sure why; i think because when i used to live in western ohio in the early 70s there was a rash of sightings by many people, some who we knew well. my dad was a HS principal and several of the teachers swore that they saw something unexplainable. steven spielberg may have somehing to do with it, too.

TK,

I am interested also, but I totally am not a believer in extrateresstreial (sp) life except that maybe, and a huge maybe it is, that there is micro life elsewhere.

I live in Nebraska and back in the 70s and 80s there was a rash of cattle mutilations. People all over were thinking that this was being done by aliens and the our government knew it. I never believed that. Instead I believe it is a government sponsored experiment to test soft tissues of grazing animals for determining if raditaion from the 60s atomic bomb testing has entered our food supplies. We in Nebraska are down wind from the prevailing upper atmosphere jet stream and so in my thinking it is only natural for this under cover experimenting to take place. It must be done in secret so as to not raise alarm and since we all are already sensitive to the UFO issue then this is the perfect cover.

I have not made my mind up on the whole issue yet.

If there are UFOs, I would first suspect that they are somehow a tool of the devil(possibly demons) to deceive mankind into some kind of new age philosophy. That would be my first guess.

Hmm...Not sure I get where you are coming from T.K....

Did you catch the caller on the narrow path program the other day who told Steve basically that "if you don't believe in dispensationalism, you are deceived and will probably accept the anti-Christ?"

Perhaps the UFOs will set that guy straight when they arrive...

Sorry, brody, my last post was a tad unclear.

i've heard the theory that UFOs/alien abductions are part of a demonic deception that will be used to explain the rapture when it happens (as opposed to the biblical explanation).

Allyn- i thought that the cattle mutilations were performed by scalpel wielding coyotes.
