Hi

Post by _Crusader » Thu Apr 20, 2006 4:26 pm

I think if the moderator were doing there job they would correct J.D. for his complete misuse of the signiture feature but Im not holding my breath...as far as the groups here there exists here a team of like minded Christians who feel its thier collective job to police this place and they do often resort to ridicule. They even have a premilleniest humor site designed to serve this purpose. For someone who exprssses a different oppinion you better get ready cause your going to get blasted...I find it ironic though that after Steve closed that thread here at 5000 views its climbed to 6300 views...people still wanted to look at it....Its really somewhat of a good ole boys network here and you have to enter at your own risk and you can throw hospitality out the window, most the time.

I don't feel picked on, I don't wear my feelings on my sleeve. I said I appreciated your comments and then I explained myself and even apologized. Now you know where I stand on discussions. I find them entertaining, informative and even nonsensical at times. I have even spoken up at times when I had a problem with something said. Am I right Paidion? I have not been here long enough to see sharp contentions but I do know one when I see one. Its just that they don't bother me all that much.

I suppose if a person is bothered by what goes on in a forum then a forum is not the best place to get information. I just happen to like them.

God Bless, mdh, and I hold no hard feelings towards you and I understand where you are coming from.

Crusader, may we change course, and can I ask you a few questions about your views? Just a q&a, I won't respond to your answers, I just have a few questions. No trickery here, I promise.

Allyn, I continue to laugh out loud after noticing the Don Knott avatar on the heels of some serious theological statement by other people.

The man was a legend in my circle of friends, because we grew up with him on Three's Company.

Is Barney the moderator here?

Crusader,

I'm still snickering over that one. Good job. It lacked subtlety and nuance, but so does your doctrine that declares recent news of dead people being awesome. A "10" for boldness. A "2" for creativity. A "0" for not rooting your humor in truth, the most important element of the funny.

Mulligan?

It's interesting how the preterists and the dispensationalists seem to have a little emnity with each other's position yet they follow a similar principal which is squeezing almost the whole book of Rev into a very short time frame.
To me there is no evidence of a 7 year tribulation or a single Anti Christ figure yet to see judgements repeated 3 times all on 70 AD Jerusalem when Christianity was already mostly out of Jerusalem and well into the gentile world does'nt make any more sense.
One can consider an historical view taking into account the preterist belief that the first judgements apply to 70AD but accept the logical part of dispensationalism which is that the last judgements apply to persent day Jerusalem without forcing in a 7 year tribulation. We may have a 45 day tribulation especially with the type of weaponary today. You can make a case that the beast is a religious system that denies Jesus is the Christ and that hates the women, the beast that comes out of the pit.
