Anyone familiar with this series? Sounds like an interesting discussion.

I've never watched any of the complete videos for this, but I'm aware of it. I believe I saw a few promo videos from the first set, and it did seem like an interesting concept. The last one they conducted, not too long ago, seems to have set the reformed blogosphere on fire, because of them having T.D. Jakes as one of the guests. I did read what was apparently a transcript of his session, and while they did address his "oneness" theology somewhat, I was disappointed that there was no questioning about his preaching of a prosperity message. Most of the reformed bloggers were dissatisfied with how they handled the oneness stuff, and frustrated that the prosperity stuff wasn't touched.

I'd be interested in hearing this also. I wish they posted it for free!

I was turned off by a statement on this page for their boxed set:

http://store.walkintheword.com/p-2678-e ... d-set.aspx

"This limited edition boxed set is mandatory viewing for those serious about their faith."

I almost thought it was a joke.

I thought being serious about your faith was evident by practicing God's Word?

"For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word
of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the
mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern
good and evil." Hebrews 5:13-14

Maybe Jesus was confused :D

"This limited edition boxed set is mandatory viewing for those serious about their faith."
If it is "mandatory" for everyone who is "serious about their faith," why is it only available in a "limited edition"?

Yeah, that 'MUST HAVE FOR EVERY SERIOUS ___________" stuff is terribly overused.

As a pastor, if I bought every 'must have' book for pastoral ministry, I'd have to have a book allowance on par with the US national debt :)
