In Genesis Chapter 3 verse 8 and 9 it reads (New American Standard):

8) They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

9) Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?"

Of course, this is referring to the fall of man here.
But I have always wondered to myself - is this in fact Jesus walking in the garden?
Or is it the Father personified? But I always thought that Jesus was God in the flesh.

I can't say much about that. But what about Genesis 19:24. There appears to be two Yahwehs in that verse. One on earth who carries out the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and one in heaven who is the power source of the destruction. It seems as if the Yahweh who stayed behind to talk to Abraham was the Son of God. It seems that the Father and the Son share the name "Yahweh", even as they share the same Spirit.

Probably the "Angel of the Lord" AKA Jesus was in the garden since the minitry of the Angel of the Lord was to deliver revelation from God.
