I have "God" (links) in thread title for any stuff that may be about or include the (formal) Doctrine of God. I may include things related, like maybe on the Gospels, other theological.
Jesus the Jew - But What Sort of Jew? (video by John P. Meier)
Description - John P. Meier, a Catholic priest, is professor of New Testament at the University of Notre Dame. He is perhaps the foremost biblical scholar of his generation. Meier's work represents the first time an American Catholic biblical scholar has attempted a full-scale, rigorously scientific treatment of the "historical Jesus." By the "historical Jesus," Meier means the Jesus whom we can recover or reconstruct by using the tools of modern historical research. Series: "Burke Lectureship on Religion & Society" [2/2002, length, 1:21]
In Search of the Historical Jesus (video by Craig Blomberg)
Description - Craig Blomberg, a specialist in the parables and the writings of Luke and Acts, discusses the historical Jesus. Series: "Let There Be Light" [8/2004, length, 1:26]
=========================================
I read Meier's first of a four book series, Jesus: A Marginal Jew. Quite a lot could be said here. Meier's scholarship is simply excellent! He's funny too.
Blomberg's talk would be a better introduction to historcial Jesus studies (over against Meier, which is a bit more technical). Blomberg gives an overview of the history of historical Jesus studies up to the present (to 2004 anyway). Great stuff! And so is Craig funny also!
Thanks & more to come some time later (audios, vids, and maybe other)!

P.S. If anyone likes any of these and wants to discuss - here we are! BUMP ME!

P.S.S. Pass em along to your friends!
