Paidion,

You pasted a few arguments in your last post that supposedly support the later date of Revelation. You also say that you have read my commentary. Perhaps it has been a while? You will find my discussion of your arguments in the revised edition of my book, on pages 30-34 (pages14-18 in the original edition).

Although my book dealt with all your arguments, you have simply repeated them, without further argumentation. If you find my discussion of these arguments unpersuasive, then it would be possible to advance the discussion (rather than stall it) by refuting the points I made about your arguments, rather than just repeating them.

More than ten years ago, at this forum (you were here then), I was aasked by a participant to respond to arguments Norman Geisler had made against me, in which he parroted the same feeble arguments for the late date of Revelation, and I responded to them. He never advanced the argument with any rebuttal. That interchange can be found here: http://www.wvss.com/forumc/viewtopic.ph ... 3f3b97261e
