You can take the quiz at the following link.

Which View of Revelation do YOU hold?

Sorry Damon...It's based on the views described in Steve's book.
Sorry Steve....If a mis-categorized any of the 4. I had to be brief and mildly entertaining while appealing to all kinds of people.

"Question 9: If I Could Only Listen to One Person Teach on Revelation, It Would be..."
What about Steve Gregg? That wasn't an option! =)

Matt,

Thanks for creating and posting the quiz. I think I failed. Can I re-take the test?

Haha

well there should have been a 6th option for people with a unique view of revelation. i think the majority of people who haven't done a recent study on revelation would end up clueless on my quiz. that may be more my fault than theirs :)

Test on Revelation

Post by _Anonymous » Wed May 25, 2005 11:29 pm

You ask these questions, and give five multiple choices, but I can only choose one for each question. While the book of Revelation, and particularly most Bible prophecy, has more than one application. That is, it often has an application to the generation and people it is spoken to, but has a future application also. Just like the letters of Paul were written to correct various problems in N. T. churches, but they also have application for us today. Some O. T. prophecies applied to the time spoken, and to the 1st coming of Christ, and also to the 2nd coming of Christ (three distinct applications to complete the fulfillment). Your test should allow more than one answer to each question, which would probably allow for the closest answer to the truth of what the Holy Spirit was trying to teach us.

I believe the spiritualist/idealist answers would best fit your position then.

I tend not to read dual/multiple meanings into passages myself. Obviously Scriptural principles can be applied to many situations throughout history and in my own personal life, but that doesn't, to me, change the fact of the context and direct application for which it was writtten.
