One way that we differ from God is mentioned in Romans, where it says that God's vengeance is legit and ours is not.

If universalism, IS true, Homer, is it possible that the traditional view insults Him? Did the persection of heretics by the church (apparently Augustine and Calvin approved of such) insult God? Surely it is possible for the church in its' traditions to insult God.

IF Christ died for every human person, wouldn't there have to be post mortem salvation for those that died before His death? For instance, presumably Christ died for all the rebellious enemies of God (Pharaoh, for instance) prior to His arrival on the planet. For that death to be applied to anybody ...

In the book of Acts, didn't some devote to the ministry of preaching and others to serving tables? So there is are different ministries, different responsbilities....

Any one care to explain how universalism and Hebrews 6 can coincide? It seems that it is not fairly dealt with (in my experience it is surprisingly overlooked) and perhaps suspiciously so, considering the force of its challenge to universalism.

But doesn't the verse in Hebrews 6 refer to humans reaching the point of no return? That it is "impossible to renew them again to repentance"? Doesn't this disprove universalism?
