Re: The Flat Earth & Conspiracy Theories

I agree with all those who have said not to waste time worry about the conspiracies unless the Holy Spirit is compelling you to speak out. There are likely far more immediate areas to focus on. God is in control. But don't be fooled by them either. Bill Gates is not a Godly man. When he was in charg...

Re: The Flat Earth & Conspiracy Theories

I was a little off my memory of the article but it doesn't change the point. To clarify 20 people in own half the wealth (not dollars) of the US. 80 people have half the wealth of the world. I realize these articles may be limiting their measure of wealth to only certain types of assets. Limiting it...

Re: The Flat Earth & Conspiracy Theories

I too don't understand the flat earth idea. I haven't really looked into it because I don't see what difference it would make in my life. Flat, round, nothing I can do about it. Vaccines not being as safe as claimed is much more of a near term issue for me as I have to make real decisions (although ...

Re: The Flat Earth & Conspiracy Theories

Look at the World Heaths Organization focus on vaccines. A nice study on how much money they are making and how to make more:

Re: The Flat Earth & Conspiracy Theories

Most peer reviewed studies are paid for by big pharmacy corporations and the data is skewed to get the answers they want. Without good data the having peers review it still leads to garbage in garbage out. I would be interested to see qualitative evidence of that. http://www.scientificamerican.com/...

Re: The Flat Earth & Conspiracy Theories

That's conspiracy thinking. Do you believe in Satan? What do you think he has been up to for the last 2000 years? If you start looking at things in that light makes it more obvious how even good people have been duped into some really wrong beliefs. He has been around a lot longer than all of us an...

Re: The Flat Earth & Conspiracy Theories

crgfstr1, There is a reason that our education system is far more about memorize and regurgitate then it is about understanding and logic. You are confusing education with peer-reviewed studies. That wasn't my point and it has nothing to with vaccines. It has to do with our education system in gene...

Re: The Flat Earth & Conspiracy Theories

c Is there any evidence or testing that even suggests that our current vaccine schedule is effective? No. Is there even any testing that it is safe? No. Yes. There is. http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/parents/infographics/journey-of-child-vaccine.html They only test the safety of each vaccine by itself....

Re: The Flat Earth & Conspiracy Theories

I would agree with your brother. There is a reason that our education system is far more about memorize and regurgitate then it is about understanding and logic. I remember taking an IQ test and seeing things that were very wrong to me. There was one that was something like: of the four items pictur...

Re: Introduction and testimony

dizerner, can you expand on that? It seems to me that the passages on that support "each one of them was hearing them speak in his own language" indicates that speaking in tongues is speaking in languages known to someone present though not to the speaker. It even sounds to me like in that case they...
