Re: The Lord's Eucharist Meal
The breaking of the bread and the wine, as I read it, is to be in rememberence of Him (Jesus Christ), to witness unto The Father that we are willing to take His name upon us, and keep His commandments, that we may have His Spirit always to remain with us. And the blessing on the bread and then the ...

Was the last supper the Passover meal?
Was the last supper the Passover meal?
It seems to me that Jesus died before the passover meal occured, that He was killed at the same time the Lambs were being killed for the passover meal.
What is your opinion?

Re: What is the deal with healing?
I'm with you all the way, Homer. I was just involved in prayer and fasting for a very sick baby who only lived a week. Her parents, grandparents, and her uncle (who is a friend of mine) and all the people praying were full of faith that she would be healed. It's cruel to tell any of us that our fai...

Re: What is the deal with healing?
Part 2 suffering There is no life in this world without suffering. The cessation of suffering comes only in the Kingdom of God. There are generally three sources of suffering in this world: suffering from the persecution of others in body and soul, suffering from sickness and disease, and suffering ...

Re: What is the deal with healing?
Thank you, TK, I will listen when I get a chance. You seem to be tentative about healing being in the atonement. Have I read you right? Why do you think healing is so important, whatever it was that provided it? You maybe interested in this concerning both sickness and illness, sorry that I am not ...

Re: What is the deal with healing?
It is one of the very purposes of the incarnation of Christ, to heal us from the wound of Adam's sin. Christ Jesus incarnation, life, death and ressurection set us free from the bondages of Satan, Sin and most of all death. He laid the grown work, now it is up to us to grab hold of the grace given ...

Re: What is the deal with healing?
Why is healing such a big deal? Why did Jesus heal so many people? Why did prophets and apostles heal people? Maybe I'm having a little difficulty understanding the full importance of physical healing because I really haven't experienced a lot of sickness in my life. I think the worse illness I rem...

Jim wrote: Do you think the disunity in western christianity, were factions rule the day is honoring God? Hi Jim, I don't think the diversity in Western Christianity dishonors God. It is how we deal with that diversity that can be dishonoring towards God. -Danny Danny, Do you believe that the Lord ...

Re: About Original Sin and Destined for Hell
Hi! In case there has been a through discussion already on the concept of original sin...can somebody please point me to it (them)? Also, is it reasonable to think that the entire human race became doomed to hell the moment Adam sinned and became separated from God? Would it be perfectly just for G...
