Re: Should we observe all the commands from Jesus' ministry?
Jacob, you say "I want to understand what the new covenant is." Then immediately say, "I understood the new covenant first, without understanding what the Law is." You really need to step back, take a pause, and gather your thoughts as you have many issues with your thinking which do no even allow f...

Re: Bethel - Redding, CA
As of today Bill Johnson's wife confirmed that he has been having some health issues so he went in to be checked out by a doctor. It was discovered that he has a large, benign mass in his small intestine which has been the cause of the problems. She said that the next step is surgery. I wish no ill ...

Jacob, let me pose a question to you.
Your Facebook says that you are "Jewish and Christian by choice." What makes you Jewish on top of being a Christian?

Re: Should we observe all the commands from Jesus' ministry?
At the time of Christ's life, he was a Jew living under the Law, amidst other Jews still under the Law - as he had yet to institute the new covenant. So his Law following, and even advocation to people such as the healed leper, would be examples of living within the old dynamics into which he arrive...

Re: Bethel - Redding, CA
Here is a video on the recent Azusa revival attempted by Lou Engle last month (he is the man in the bright blue shirt at the beginning of the video). I do not like using videos that already are jaded or sarcastic in nature, but do not have the knowledge to clip and compile video myself. I grabbed th...

Re: Bethel - Redding, CA
I am glad people are finding this thread helpful and informative. I have neglected the thread lately, but have some new things to put up. First are a couple posts by Shawn Bolz. He is a NAR prophet who came up under Mike Bickle in the 90's, but has recently experienced a surge of popularity. You wil...

Re: The death penalty, society, and the new covenant.
Not being born under the Law we must consider that which came before us which we did not know only through the study of the New Testament. You lost me again with this comment... Old covenant law is not the only law found in the Old Testament. I'm still not tracking your logic. I thought we had nail...

Re: The death penalty, society, and the new covenant.
By that the Law was not abolished by Jesus. So we have more to obey than just what you referenced earlier as the commands of Jesus and subsequent commands in the NT? Not being born under the Law we must consider that which came before us which we did not know only through the study of the New Testa...

Re: The death penalty, society, and the new covenant.
I am only talking about the more commands in the New Testament, after Jesus. Ok, so the things we are to obey - according to you - are what Christ said to do, and subsequent commands found in the NT. We can leave it at that for now. So how do you get backwards to the Mosaic Law? By that the Law was...
