I suppose if he wasn't a relational being we would have no way of knowing about him since it is generally agreed that exposure to his total presence would destroy us.

It seems like the eternal life we have in God and our relationship with him is sufficient qualification.

Weren't they "fiery serpents"? Also ancient cultures did not know what parasites were. Shoot as little as a few hundred years ago people didn't know what they were. What language would they use to describe the phenomenon? And why snakes twining around sticks? They are just interesting commonalities....

Well, I think man has the timeline all skewed. The dating methods are so relative. Even if the big bang is true(and you won't be able to convince me a telescope in orbit can prove that anymore than an evolutionist can convince me we descended from apes simply due to an expanding universe or anything...
