Re: Hell book complete

It could actually prove to be the most uplifting gift you could give. I think the book will bring a great relief to most people, and cause them to love God more easily. By the way, giving a copy to your pastor(s) might be a good idea also. If you don't want to get in too much trouble, you can just ...

Re: Mark 9:49, "Salted with fire" Revisited

I see the point you made about "all" being not literal. But how is the word used if it is intended to be literal? Can it mean a literal "all"? That questions not addressed to me, but I'd like to say that it's sort of like the "limited negative" formulation. Without a hard and fast rule about when i...

Re: Debating an Atheist

Frankly, I am OPEN to believing in (Theistic) evolution. I think it is POSSIBLE to fit macro-evolution into a Christian worldview (some of my favorite Christian preachers and authors do it). An interesting quote: Biologist David Hull writes: Whatever the God implied by evolutionary theory and the d...

Re: Debating an Atheist

Even if one were to prove evolution, it has never been proven that it is *unguided*. A challenging book for you, Truman, is by Alvin Plantinga, Where the Conflict Really Lies..... I've read it. The book, and his ideas, are lame. That doesn't qualify as a defeater for his views. That is what is know...

Re:

Benzoic, Here's the way I see it: Romans 6:1-14 (New King James Version) 1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2. Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3. Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were ...
