Thanks, Brenden!
Same here! Although I probably won't use it in conversation since I have no idea how to pronounce it, I like that this term exists.

Re: Conditionalists: How did you come to your belief?

Interesting, Doug. So adherence to full-preterism can lead to adherence to universalism if one emphasizes certain tenets. I have a few questions for you: 1) you say that you've talked to a number of universalist preterists. Is it a sizable subset of full preterism? 2) Where did you encounter these g...

Re: Is the trinity "extra-biblical"

Thank you, Michelle. Eph 5:25 is a clear scriptural example of the Church being referred to as "her", and that's a corporate entity referred to with a singular pronoun. Do you happen to know of any other scriptures which do so? Hi, Paidion, please don't take offense when I say that your request baf...

Re: Is the trinity "extra-biblical"

This digression is nutty. Ephesians 5:25 Samuel J. Stone (1839-1900) 1. The church's one foundation is Jesus Christ her Lord; she is his new creation by water and the Word. From heaven he came and sought her to be his holy bride; with his own blood he bought her, and for her life he died. Not ...

Re: Conditionalists: How did you come to your belief?

I thought that some other avenues, or threads would answer, or follow this same direction. Such as the dual fulfillments of prophecies, etc. I believe I wrote a response once and can't find it on my computer. I sometimes write and don't post till I proofread, then i lose the file :| Would be happy ...

Re: Is the trinity "extra-biblical"

Totally true, JR, that the Body of Christ is one entity, and people from two different groups, Jew and Gentile, form that one body. However, no one ever refers to that one body as "he ". So I think my point still stands...' (from the thread Re: What is the meaning and purpose of life?) Lots of peop...

Re: What is the meaning and purpose of life?

Concerning the original question, "What is the meaning and purpose of life?", let's look a little deeper. 1. Consider a baby that dies on the same day as its birth. What is the meaning and purpose of its life? 2. Consider a person who lives his whole life only to serve himself. What is the meaning ...
