Re: eternal sonship?

the Nicaean Creed was a mere biblical approximation of the data given in Scripture. There were many local creedal statements much earlier. It was the Word, who is Jehovah who spoke all things into existence. God does not change and so logically and according to scripture...the Word has always been G...

Re: eternal sonship?

Concerning how I get "has always existed" it is the very meaning of "Ene" in "En arche ENE ho Logos.... Always was, already existed...etc. Check out your local lexicon and parser. 1st year Greek my friend. "In the Beginning (Arche) the LOGOS already was i.e. already existed prior to creation. "This ...

Re: eternal sonship?

Peace, To state that the eternal Sonship of Jesus Christ (Who is the eternal Image, Likeness and Form i.e.Davar/Logos of God the invisible Father) is unscriptural is to admit a lack of reasoning based upon explicit Scriptural testimony of the Torah, the Prophets, the Writings and the Works of the Ap...

Beni ha'Elohim - Angeloi tou Theou LXX Alex.

After discussing this issue with Steve Gregg, I found this article...which I agree with in most parts. Sons of God, Daughters of Men /reposted from the mysterious musings of brother blue <http://www.brotherblue.org/> which i'm rather sure he found in I.D.E. Thomas's work available on amazon.com / / ...

Re: Debate: Church/Israel

Greetings, I am not sure why the debate. God's Church has always been the "elect" of Israel. From Horeb on, the Assemly of Saints has been the true remnant or elect....according to the Tanakh and the New Covenant Scriptures. All who are members of the Predestined one (Messiah) are the Isreal of God....

Re: Jesus is Lord Translator Note

It has always been clear to me from the usage of Kyrios in this text that Paul is saying YAHVEH. He is referencing Isaiah in a fashon known as a Targum. All knees shall bend, and all shall confess that Jesus (Yah-shua aka Yah the Savior) is Yahveh Himself, to the glorification of the Father (who is ...

Re: Gospel overshadowed for 1500 years!

The Good News has never been "overshaddowed" nor the truth lost until a German Augustinian Monk, while relieving himself on the toilet, had a personal insight on Grace! This is nonsense. Steve errs, but is the gospel overshaddowed by his human fallibility? NO. The gates of hell have never prevailed ...

Re: "Free Will" Taught by Fathers prior to Augustine

Greetings, It is only the Western churches which debates God's free will and man's....the rest of Christianity has seen no paradox in the two. Since the very beginning Man's free will has been held as fact. Saint Morgan of Wales (aka Pelegius Britto) was in fact called before two Synods in the East,...

Re: Is it a sin to not go to church?

Greetings, I am sorry if my musings offended you Michelle...that was and is not my intention. I was speaking in general terms about a general question with no one..save myself...in mind. Just trying to discuss the question and reasons for and against congregational meetings of the saints.....in any ...

Re: Mental health and the Fall

Greetings Dear Friend, I too was a "Back Slidden Saint" or as I call it, A Prodigal Son. I have returned to our Father's Estate and work as a son with a slave's heart. I have had friends and family struggling with Mental illness also. One committed suicide out of severe depression over her father's ...
