Re: Looking for fellowship in Vancouver, WA

Dan, did you ever learn of a good fellowship in the Vancouver area for your friend? It seems to me I've heard of one, but I can't remember how or from whom. But I could ask around and try to find that information for you if your friends are still needing it. There may be others by now who could reco...

Re: Desperate for Jesus

And Jepne, Yes! Your daughter!! I will let my prayer for Dad (aka John, aka Gramps) be my reminder to pray for Chris and your daughter.
Many blessings, and Good very-late night! Joan

Re: Desperate for Jesus

May I add another concern to our list? John became a dad to me when I was 19. He was always kind to me, and I love him with all my heart. He has resisted the Gospel all these years, and he's tough; he cusses something fierce, nurses certain grudges and has a hot temper, yet he loves children and is ...

Re: Desperate for Jesus

Selah, I feel for you in what you're going through. Few things hurt so intensely as awareness of the suffering or endangerment of one's child (regardless of age). But yea! Encouraging indicators suggest that perhaps there is more to the story than meets the eye. It's easy to imagine a skirmish over ...

Re: Desperate for Jesus

Selah, It's late so I didn't read enough of the preceding posts to discover your son's current state, but I do want to quickly share my son's story to encourage you. The Lord can do anything! My son was a heavy user of alchohol and hard drugs for approximately ten years. There was nothing I could do...

I'm really glad for you, Paidion. And loving the way these warm welcomes suggest a picture of the reception awaiting each of us in our REAL home!

Re: confused

Hi Ronee, I've seen you around the forum so I'm guessing you might already be more comfortable here by now than I am, but I can't resist mentioning how I've come to see the forum: a virtual fellowship, with all different sorts of people and conversations going on at any given time - some of them too...

Re: Lectures for the First Module have been posted

The volume does seem better now, and (is it me?) it sounds clearer, easier to understand. It streams well, too. I appreciate the improvement. I don't have an ipod but I''ll experiment with downloading to my computer and from there to CD's. Thanks!
