Re: Regarding the opening song for the program..

I grew up listening to my dad's whistling, and it was always such a fun, happy sound. I LOVE the entry to TNP! Distinctive, warm, and inviting, and I think it well represents what TNP is all about. Of course I am a newer listener, but I can't imagine ever getting tired of it!

Re: Radio Broadcasts?

The latter site restricts its use to things not related to charity or "causes," so it isn't suitable. I'd be glad to help set up a project with the other site if you're comfortable with the language of the pledge: "I will (enter your pledge) but only if (10 [or other number]) (other people) will (d...

Re: Radio Broadcasts?

Actually, I was thinking like Suzana, that it would be fine with me to just send it to you. But would that be bothersome?

Re: Radio Broadcasts?

...I am not opposed to taking up a collection for the "Comrex Access rack mount" (which is the piece of equipment we lack). We'll see what happens. Check these out... They allow folks to provide contingent contributions and make contingent commitments depending on contributions. http://www.pledgeba...

Re: Desperate for Jesus

In the October 15 entry of My Utmost for His Highest , Oswald Chambers speaks of the propitiation of Christ Jesus - that is, "His sacrifice for us that completely satisfied the wrath of God." Reading of it, I immediately thought of Chris. Allyn, the song you shared agrees with this focus. Lord, open...

Re: Radio Broadcasts?

I've listened to enough of The Road To Find Out to recognize that it is a valuable outreach, and I'm delighted to hear the station and listeners are eager to see it back on the road. $3,000 isn't an impossibly large sum to raise. This is exciting! I'm glad to know about Michael's calling pattern. I ...

Re: Radio Broadcasts?

Can we start raising money for the needed equipment so you can get back to The Road to Find Out ? If 150 people gave an extra $20, or if 300 of us gave an extra $10 (sounds like home school), we could raise it in a hurry. Assuming there are 300 of us who frequent the forum and support TNP. Are there...

Re: Radio Broadcasts?

I was having the same problem but suddenly, it's fixed. It took another day for the newer broadcasts to show up on TNP even though you said you could see them here, Dane. I can't get Eggbeater at all now. Could it be that things are refreshed more slowly or quickly on a regional basis, or by interne...

Re: Desperate for Jesus

Oh Selah, this does sound exciting. And hard. I love the approach you are taking to your son. Gentle, loving and wise. Use it, Father. I can't imagine that Chris would fight back with such determination if the Lord wasn't, in a sense, 'tugging on him.' If he is embarrassed, he may be feeling guilt i...
