I'm becoming a little leery of saying "someone is a genuine/true Christian if..." Because I wonder at what point we start making up rules for whether or not we're really forgiven, really redeemed, really saved, really in Christ, if... if... if... I feel that once someone has asked for forgiveness, they have been forgiven, and God remembers their sin no longer.
