Re: Did the writer to the Hebrews use the nominative case as a vocative?

By the authority of Hellenistic Greek grammar, which I spent a year studying at the Winnipeg Bible Institute, and an additional 3 years of studying at the University of Manitoba, where I received a BSc degree. Does it really seem reasonable to you that that little bit of study would make you a high...

Re: Did the writer to the Hebrews use the nominative case as a vocative?

Almost every translation renders Hebrews 1:6 as, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever." Yet the word "God" is in the nominative case rather than the vocative case. [,,,] But in Hebrews 1:6, the word "God" is in the nominative case, the case used as subject. So why isn't it translated as subject...

Re: Paul's great omission

You will find throughout the gospel presentations in Acts, no semblance of a Christology as Trinitarian affirm. Is this troubling to any Trinitarians reading this? Do you not agree with that assessment? No, it's not at all troubling. Why would it be? Why on earth would one introduce something like ...

Re: Belly of the Beast Documentary

I haven't seen it. I'd probably watch it if it were free and convenient, just for the historical interest. At least some of that stuff is probably true, but seems irrelevant in any practical sense, since it changes nothing; history is what it is. Where the country is headed from here seems far more ...

Re: No longer receiving email notifications

I think I found the problem. Checking the forum's error log, it looks like there's a misconfiguration in the forum's email sending settings that's causing emails to be rejected by the SMTP server. With my very limited admin access, that's about all I can see. So, since this post got no response, I'm...

Re: The False Prophet by Ellis Skolfield

Don't most Preterists think Revelation was written later in the 60s but that would pose a problem since the Laodicean Church was called "rich" and having wealth but that would be unlikely with an earthquake destruction in 60AD? A reasonable hypothesis, but hardly a given. A rich city could very wel...

Re: Our “spirits”?

For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no-one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. (1 Cor 2:11 NIV) This seems to suggest that a man's spirit is the thinking part of him, and that similarly, God's spirit is the thinking part ...

Re: Radio Program & Mask Wearing

Love your neighbor; wear a mask around other people! I would gladly wear a mask, if it were really the loving thing to do. But it just doesn't seem very loving to me to play along with what I know is a fraud, dangerous on several levels, just to make some people feel safer while actually making bot...

Re: Radio Program & Mask Wearing

Herd immunity sounds good but there is a lot about the virus we don't know yet & it's possible that long term respiratory damage may occur or other organ damage. This virus is a lot more durable then i thought and even if a person develops immunity it may not last very long, it may only last 3 - 6 ...

Paidion, I don't know why you are unable to link to the mp3 of this lecture. It works for me.
The link in your first post has a typo; doesn't work for me either. The second one works.
