Re: Amos 8:11-12 Famine of hearing the Word

In Christianity, rhema is used in Bible study to signify Jesus Christ's utterance. The Greek word rhema is useful to distinguish between two meanings of word. While both rhema and logos are translated into the English word, in the original Greek there was a substantial distinction. Rhema is Christ's...

Amos 8:11-12 Famine of hearing the Word

Amo 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: Amo 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the w...

Re: "in heaven and on the earth and under the earth"

Verbatim, Thank you for your question. Candlepower stated, Normal human conception requires an egg cell and a sperm cell. In Jesus' case, there was no sperm cell involved. Instead, He was miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit. Verbatim asked Is this a biblical teaching? I do believe this is Bib...

Re: "in heaven and on the earth and under the earth"

Hello Verbatim, You misspoke, probably unintentionally, when you said, Jesus is born and conceived by Mary Matthew, however, said But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary you...

Steve 7150 wrote: Jesus was also born of the Spirit unless you have the JWs definition of born of the Spirit, which is resurrection. Sounds like you do. No, I’m not a member of JW as you insinuated, please don’t make accusation without basis instead show me your proof, Scripture that show Jesus was ...

Re: The identity of Lucifer

Okay, Perhaps I’m tend to agree with your opinion for being base on Scripture but reading it the way you explain your arguments it did not add spiritual growth in my learning for being all literally interpreted.

However, thanks for the time you spent in answering my opinion.

Best regards.
