"Save" Feature

I just learned there is a "save" feature that allows you to save something you are writing and leave to look up something. I used it but then thought I ought to delete the saved item when I finished. How do you do this?

Re: Everlasting Destruction?

Perhaps our problem is in our understanding of the meaning of "the presence of the Lord". I believe God's presence is experienced in three ways, if not more: 1. His general or omnipresence. 2. His indwelling Spirit. 3. His presence among those assembled in His name. Matthew 18:20 (New King James Ver...

another thought- might God not "limit" his omnipresence if he chooses to do so? (i.e. he is everywhere except hell).

Darin, You wrote: Considering the focus on tithing from the pulpit..... I can certainly understand your "jaded view". My experience is the opposite. At the church we have attended for over 25 years I can't recall it ever being mentioned in a sermon. And you wrote: Many churches these days even sugge...

Re: Tithing

I think North should be commended for finding joy in tithing; that is far more than most who claim to be Christians give. Quoting Jesus without attempting an exegesis of what He meant and the circumstances of His statements may be laying a burden on a brother that Jesus never intended. Jesus' statem...

Re: Is Monotheism necessary?

But who is the "first great cause? The one before whom there is no other? And if there are multiple gods who each have their own planet (or solar system), who assigns them to their particular responsibillity? It would seem necessary that there is one who is above all others. When we go beyond script...

Seer You wrote: 1. Sean, I think for this to work for you would have to deny that "Christ and Him crucified" is a spiritual truth. At least not one of importance. I don't know if there are many spiritual truths that are more important - do you? That Christ was crucified is more than a "spiritual tru...

Worship "In Spirit and Truth"

The following is a summary of an argument in a passage in the book "A Gathered People" by John Mark Hicks, et al.: Worship of the Father in the new age will be "in Spirit and Truth". In John 4:20-21, in his discussion with the Samaritan woman, the subject concerned the proper place of worship: (All ...
