I don't think a revival necessarily puts a stamp of approval on everything someone says. Here's something that I find intriguing. William Miller was preaching, based on his understanding of Daniel 8, that the world would come to and end in 1843. This obviously did not happen. The interesting part is...

I am not aware that Wohlberg is teaching anything like "you have the mark of antichrist if you do not keep a seventh day sabbath." I came across this video. It seems he does hold the classic SDA view...i.e. the mark of the beast is worshiping on Sunday. http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-76080...

Hi TK, I think the first time I encountered the words "have sex" I broke into a cold sweat and used a euphemism. When I realized that my daughter didn't seem to have a problem with the situation I decided to read it as written (she's 8 now, so she's at the point where she can read it herself as well...

Just to show that all kids are not the same. I started reading the bible with my daughter when she was almost 7 using the NLT. I decided not to filter anything. When I read the part about Lot in Sodom and then his encounter with his daughters, my daughter made the following comment. "Do you know wha...

Seth wrote Creation/Evolution/Age of the Earth is a big one. I tend to get freaked-out looks when I mention I don't lean toward the 144 hours view. Is that the look you're talking about? If so, I can relate! Must a Christian be a Republican? I sure hope not, it's not an option for me! Then a...

FOF wrote This gives us a very good example that perish can be a temporary condition, and that it applies to people who are overcome in sin - have "lost" their way FOF, I’m having trouble seeing the word “lost” as referring to being personally lost (like if I told you I was “lost” in the forest). T...

Thanks for doing the review Seth. I wanted to get a better understanding of his position and your review helped out a lot. It was very well done. I heard him quote the Jer 17:9 passage and had the exact same reaction as you. His arguments do seem like a bit of a stretch to me but I don't want to be ...

That's great Seth, I look forward to the review. I tried listening to a couple of his audio links that dealt with this subject. I think I understand his premise but he never went deep enough into the explanation (to my satisfaction anyway). Perhaps your review will shed more light on his view. Thanks

This is great action! I thought for sure Danny had the point and then Homer came back with a diving save and set up a great return. I'm making a quick trip to the concession stand. I don't want to miss a thing! :D PS....thanks for the feedback on the book Danny. It would be cool to hear Talbott, Gul...
