Homer, great analogy!

It brings to mind the passage exhorting us to behold the goodness and the severity of the Lord. Also the passage about the NT church growing in the fear of the Lord and the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

I think it is just a misunderstanding, allow me to clarify. Our sins were laid on Christ. God made Christ who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
