Hi JC, I don't think this makes sense. God would never heal a person through occult stuff. Faith healers are not healing people by the power of the Holy Spirit. If God healed people through occult stuff then he would even confuse the people and make it look like he doesn't mind these occult things. ...

What do you think about "healers"?
I just read the story of a woman which suffered from skipped heartbeats. They were so strong that she consulted a "healer". She said that the reason for her heart problems are rooted in her birth. She was born too early and they also used medication to induce the labor pains. He hypnotized her and t...

What defines our personality? Is it materialism?
Take a look at this: Finger length ratio (2D:4D) is a sexually dimorphic trait. Men have relatively shorter second digits (index fingers) than fourth digits (ring fingers). Smaller, more masculine, digit ratios are thought to be associated with either higher prenatal testosterone levels or greater s...

But what if I simply mess it up in the moments when I should resist? This is the problem. In these deciding moments I mess it up. I don't even try to resist. Sometimes I do and fail but many times I don't even have much resistance. And then later I think how am I even able to sin, how can I suppress...

Does a real christian not struggle with habitual sins?
I was told that a real born again christian can simply ask God for the strength and grace to overcome sin and then God will give it to him! This means that no born again christian could possible struggle with sin the way it is described in romans 7. Is this true? Then maybe I am not even born ...

:( Oh man. Does this mean a person cannot even become saved right on the spot for example if you tell a person that she needs to get saved she might not even be able to even if she wants cause she cannot become saved without conviction? This is like a nightmare for me and you know why? Cause o...

Well but aren't we all this way? I think that no matter what you learn first this becomes your foundation and people need a foundation for safety and stability. If you first were taught that being slain by the spirit is biblical for example and then somebody else tells you it's not biblical you will...

Is asking Jesus into your heart wrong?
You find this phrase it in almost every gospel tract and sinner's prayer, this "Jesus, I ask you into my heart" sentence. But where exactly is it in the bible? What are these tracts based on? Who defines what a sinner's prayer has to look like? I just listened to an episode of wayofthemaster radio a...

Well, being challenged can be good and bad. Usually I rather tend to stick with what I heard first or what's mainstream. I would have problems believing in special stuff simply because it would be too risky for me. When you stick to what mainstream christianity teaches then you at least belong to th...

Differences between God in the OT and the NT?
In another thread I already brought up this question why Jesus dealt with the adulterous woman the way he did. The law demanded her to be stoned. The law was from God. Jesus is God. This would actually make it seem pretty logical that Jesus would want this woman to be stoned. But he forgives her and...
