I a little confused by this thread. What exact is the role of the Christian? Are we the guardians of the institute of Marriage? Are we the judge of all nonChristians? I think you will find scriptual support for
1) Fellowship with believers
2) Recognizing your a part of the body of Christ

If being a member of church helps with these to things great. If you can get these two things without being a member great.

I just meant it as a catch all.
Sometimes outside circumstanses caused me to change my time. Sometimes I just got lazy and stopped, sometimes focused on other things, other times I found I really was unsure about what I was really getting out of the time.
