I am wondering, Michelle, why is Tod Bentley your "favorite"? I don't know for sure, but I've been slightly obsessed by this man ever since I heard about the Lakeland Revival this spring. I think it's because I long for a true revival, although that's not a great reason to keep bringing up someone ...

I deal with mold all the time in my line of work. I have never had a repeat occurance. The key is to remove all the infested wood and wall board. If the wall is insulated it too must go. A clorox/water solution will aid in killing the spores if they are the less toxic kind (only a lab can really tel...

So Pai, is Jesus God in your theology? I think I answered that question in my last post: "However, in divesting Himself of divine attributes, He did retain one essential thing, however, and that was His identity! He was the same Individual while He lived on earth as He was prior to His birth. But H...

Hi Rick,
I think you should revise the title one more time and let it read:

The Spiritual Gift of Prophecy (and, perhaps, others) are things of the past.

I sincerely believe the Perfect has come already and those things are finished.

Wonderful story and a wonderful experience for your daughter I am sure. To see humanity in a different setting is so sobering and makes one mature awfully fast. We just don't see these things often enough on average. We USAians are so blessed that we have become blind.

Thanks for sharing, Michelle.

Derek, blessings upon you, brother. Usually we are harder on ourselves then God is. You belong to Him through Christ Jesus. Believe me, friend, this too shall pass. I went through some of what you described 15 years ago. It was the best thing that could have happened to me actually. God doesn't do e...

Steve - Broadcast live

Hi Steve, I am always looking for new tech tools to use on a website and I came across something very interesting that might interest you and be very useful for all of us here. As I understand it you regularly lead a Bible study. There have been many times that I wish I could be a part of the study ...

P.S. I should also mention that, at the first time I went to this study, I specifically said I didn't want to debate (or to start one). The pastor has acknowledged that I have "other views" more than once. However, I haven't really gone into them much, other than the illustration of 'the woolly lam...

Verse 20 simply shows what a change of heart can do as influence against a before mentioned proclamation. God can and does change His mind upon repentance. What we do have, however are many, many verses that speak directly to and in favor of a first century fulfilment. 1. "The Kingdom of Heaven is a...
