Re: For Partial Preterists: Any OT Passages on the 2nd Coming?

Hi remade, Psalm 110:1 is important regarding the 2nd Coming. It implies that all Christ's enemies will eventually be destroyed at which point His reign wil be transformed into a different sort of reign. This verse is quoted in Mt 22:44; Mk 12:36; Lk 20:42; Ac 2:34; Hebrews 1:13. Blessings, Carmine

Hi remade, Glad to hear of your interest. The site index for all the articles on my blog can be found at dariusthemedewasgod.com . Every article there is invested heavily in explaining the symbolic significance of the number 8. Specifically, my blog article The Great Tribulation of Full Preterism: C...

Strong's Hebrew Etymology Tree

Hi friends. Here is a resource that I created several years ago that I'd now like to share with the world. It is a tree representation of the linguistic relationship between the 8,000+ Hebrew words recorded in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. For those that have read any of my articles, you know how...

I agree with you on this point Paidion. I think both passages are about an entity whose destruction is yet in our future.

Re: Partial Preterists: 2 Thess 2:1-12?

Hi remade, I'm a Partial Preterist, albeit, not your average one. I've evaluated the prevalent ideas that this Man of Lawlessness was the Papacy or some 1st century Roman ruler like Vespasian but I personally think the existing evidence supports a much different identity. I believe this Man of Lawle...

A Response to Don K. Preston: The Timing of the Coming of the Son of Man in the Book of Daniel

Hi all, I've been engaging in several preterist groups on Facebook recently in regards to my research on the prophecies of Daniel. In particular, I've been weighing in on the ongoing YouTube debate between Don Preston and William Vincent. In response to some challenges presented to me by Don, I've c...

What do the Fall of Babylon, Whirlwinds and Gatekeepers Have in Common?

Elsewhere, I've presented the argument that whirlwinds as symbols of God were central to understanding the symbolism underlying the historical events being predicted in the enigmatic passages of Daniel 11:36-45. I'd like to suggest that whirlwinds also play a role in uncovering some helpful observat...

Re: (Seemingly) strange applications of OT prophecy in the N

Hi Seeker, These passages are certainly bewildering. In truth, I persoanlly have yet to find many compelling, scholarly justifications for many of these OT quotations and allusions in the NT. Even the scholars who do venture to explain them vary greatly on their interpretation on many such examples....

Re: Why Couldn't Satan be Literally Imprisoned Now?

I'm not aware of any passages that completely eliminate the possibility that Satan's detention in the Abyss results in completely removing his influence from the world. But while largely preterist myself, unlike mainstream preterism and amillennialism, I do believe in an interpretation of the 1,000 ...
