Re: Does a Christian have to be in a Church
What led you away from the Catholic Church? [/color] I was "incubated" in the RCC as a child by my family. When I was old enough to refuse to go, I stopped going and never returned. I wouldn't even consider it now for many personal reasons, it's just not right for me, too materialistic apart from a...

Re:
This may or may not eventually lead to the husband's conversion, but he is "set apart" by God for intensive dealings with his conscience. This is also true of the children of a Christian parent. They are "holy" in the same sense as is the husband—"set apart" from the normal circumstances of most un...

Re: Your Wish is My Command
I would call this new age. I personally would rather read my bible right before I sleep.
I do believe that energy once created cannot be destroyed, which we are and which lines up perfectly with the Word.

Re: Does a Christian have to be in a Church
Well I have had another email chat with the pastor and he has clarified a few things for me so I am going to attend the service on Sunday and see how it goes, I am really looking forward to it. It's a big step for somebody whose only experience of church has been the RCC. I have not been in a church...

Re: Does a Christian have to be in a Church
sorry I forgot to highlight my replies, sorry about that.
I guess I really would rather have fellowship outside a brick church rather than in one that may impose things that I don't believe belong in the true Church. Maybe I have my answer already?

Re: Does a Christian have to be in a Church
I emailed the pastor and told him I am not dispensationalist and my eschatology differs. He still said I am welcome along. I don't know what the point would be if I am going to have to listen to pre trib rapture theory and all that. I just don't think there's any point when straight from the word g...

Re: struggling with what churches have become
I have been apart of standard churches for quite some time and had always thought, "this is just the way it is." However, I always had feelings and promptings that made me feel that some things just weren't right. I'm not trying to say any church or gathering of believers will ever be "perfect," bu...

Does a Christian have to be in a Church
Hello, my question basically is do I have to be a member of a bricks and mortar church? I don't believe I do. I have been considering checking out a Baptist church but now I am not sure it's for me. I am not a dispensationalist and upon further reading on this churches website not only are they disp...

Re: A shy hello to all
I don’t fit into any of the above but I was tempted to try the Baptist Church but I have a feeling it may be dispensationalist and I don’t belong there either. I have learned much from dispensational teaching. Glad to here your thoughts. Often a church may be dispensationalist but if they don't mak...
