Hi Homer,
I believe you’ll find Steve talking about this in his series, ‘Some Assembly Required ‘. Wish I could be more specific about which one but it’s been a while since I listened to this one.
Blessings.

Re: Christian Perspective on Trade Unions
Thanks for your response. I live in Canada and none of the provinces in Canada has RTW legislation. There are many workplaces where membership in the union is a condition of employment. I believe that unionization rates are higher in Canada than the United States. And no, I can’t imagine Jesus walki...

Christian Perspective on Trade Unions
I would appreciate your views on a Christian working in a job that requires union membership.

Re: Could Luke 20:38 support Universalism?
Also, if Paul knew that we have a heavenly habitation in store for the day when this current building is destroyed and is also desirous of being further clothed than he currently is, doesn’t that indicate that our current groaning is for an improved body, not just an expression of desire to not be g...

Re: Could Luke 20:38 support Universalism?
I realize it’s a figure of speech. Like I said, interesting how differently people can understand the same passage.
Do you have any suggestions about my understanding of the passage in Luke 20?

Re: Could Luke 20:38 support Universalism?
It’s amazing how differently people can understand the same scriptures. It is true, Jesus was addressing the resurrection in this passage. But in verse 38, Jesus clearly states that God is NOT the God of the dead. And yet, he attributes the statement, “I am the God of your Father - the God of Abraha...

Re: The Benedict Option
Thanks Matt. I read the book about six months ago and I'd say your summary is accurate. I'm looking forward to your review. I enjoyed the book. Didn't agree with all of it but the basic premise struck a chord with me and I'm interested in hearing the comments of others who read it. Sent from my iPho...

Re: Is Genesis History?
Where we can get tripped up is if we think God is trying to fool us or deceive us, because He made something a certain way. If God creates something with an appearance of age (or cataclysms that never actually happened) then it is not that I THINK God is trying to fool us- He IS trying to fool us. ...
