Re: Is Molinism the natural progression of classic Arminianism?
I do not see Rev 22:13 as a statement that God is in time.God does not say I am there at the beginning & the end,He says "I am.The way these words are positioned clearly implies that God is sovereign over time.By saying that time is in God,I am saying that it exists through Him & when He no longer w...

Re: Is Molinism the natural progression of classic Arminianism?
Rev 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."I believe this scripture is a clear statement, that God is not in time, but rather time is in God.He created time,He is sovereign over time,He allows time to exist through Him.So He would have absolute knowledge ...

Re: Preacher Worship
I think there is a combination of reasons. The TULIP is a very defined & strict system of theology. Those who adhere to that system believe that it is God centered & misrepresent anything else to be Man centered or Sub-Christian.Those who are Sub-Christian teachers are basically false teachers & are i...

Is Molinism the natural progression of classic Arminianism?
If my understanding is correct the classic Arminian believes that God does not decree sin, rather that He only exploits the sin & sinner for His purpose. Is that not the same thing that Molinism teaches? Is not middle knowledge & counterfactuals just ways of explaining the mechanism that God uses to ex...

Preacher Worship
I find that my 5 point Calvinist brothers seem to border on preacher worship. They are constantly lifting up MacArtur,Piper,Sprouls & others. While in the same breath participate in character assassination of teachers who hold to anything less than all 5 points.Billy Graham seems to be at the top of t...

Re: Women Teaching
I think if we are Christians, sexism should not even come into the equation.I believe scripture should be the determining factor.Scripture is clear,God loves His sons & daughters equally. But His sons & daughters are different creatures, with different duties ordained by God.There are examples of women...
