Re: The deficiency of the assumption that Jesus allows divorce
Hi Sean, It is not my place to list anyones sins. I simply posed questions to Steve for "introspection". The fact that he reacted in such a defensive manner, is shocking to me. Aren't we all supposed to examine ourselves daily and seek the Lords purification of our hearts? If we are in leadership, a...

Re: CULTS. on today's boadcast.
Whenever I encounter a fellowship where the leader is not able to be challenged without feeling attacked and acting like they are a victim, I become extremely concerned for the believers who are under this unhealthy authority. Having the freedom to think for oneself and to disagree with the leader w...

Re: Does faith come by hearing or by reading?
jriccitelli, Thank you for sharing your perspective. We are all enriched by having different perspectives as the Holy Spirit speaks to our hearts according to where we are at in our walk, our culture, our experiences, etc. What you shared is as real to you as what any other person shares. That is th...

Re: Fear of offending
Hi Suzana!
Thanks for sharing your perspective. Yes, I absolutely agree, the whole body, especially those who feel they are above reproach, need to take a look in the mirror.......Anyone who believes they are without sin, is hugely deceived.......
God Bless...

Re: Fear of offending
Yes, this quote is so true. Adulation of leaders and denying their flaws, is so damaging to everyone. There is such a fear amongst believers to speak the truth because of how they are treated, labeled and attacked when doing so. Proverbs tell us, "the wounds of a friend are better than kisses of dec...

Re: The deficiency of the assumption that Jesus allows divorce
Backwoodsman, Steve is not a victim and doesn't need you to rescue him. Please step back and allow Steve to be an adult. You are diminishing him as a person and a believer when you treat him like a child. The Kool-aid seems to have clouded your ability to see that Steve is an adult. Your attempts to...

Re: Gregg vs. Keller?
"poor saps", wow, I'll be praying for your view of yourself and the folks who follow Steve rather than Jesus. Please stop victimizing Steve, he is not a victim who needs to be rescued. When he stands before the Lord, his enablers won't be allowed to rescue him. Let go and let God, Steve is an adult ...

Re: Righteous Anger
I'm not sure if this has already been said, I don't have time to read all the posts, but here is my view on "righteous anger." Since God lives in the believer by His Spirit and Paul says, "it is no longer I who lives, but Jesus in me," it would make sense that God's Spirit uses our body to express H...

Re: Does faith come by hearing or by reading?
Thanks for sharing your perspectives! The Lord speaks to each of our hearts in a personal way, so it is great to read what He is saying to other believers! I would only add one idea and that is we can experience the Holy Spirit without the Bible as this is happening today in other countries where th...
