Re: Best postive scientific evidence for an old universe/ earth
TK, I don't know about growth rings, but I wouldn't assume if they did have growth rings that God put them there it to decieve us. What some people call growth rings, cabinet makers call grain. Maybe grain makes it strong. Maybe there are a million different reasons God made the things the way he di...

Awesome. My buddies and I used to sit around and wonder if you could go light speed in a spaceship to the edge of the universe...blah blah blah. Those were the days. LOL.

Re: Best postive scientific evidence for an old universe/ earth
TK, I had no idea at the time of my post who came up with it. My point was that I've heard it used by non-Christians. My post was not to say who came up with it, but to at least give another take on it. For example, when God created Adam and Eve how old did they think the fruit trees were? Couldn't ...

When the work crew of hundreds comes over and does all that work in a few days or a week or ...

Re: Wounds in Christ's resurrected body?
In the verses pertaining to the people walking along the path, it is worth noting, that it was the people's problem. It didn't say that Jesus was any different, it says that they didn't recognize him or they were kept from recognizing him. Also some points have been argued where some verses say, ".....

I want to again say I'm sorry. Is there a spirit of confusion? When I re-read some of your posts this morning, I was thinking, "What was I typing"?! I swear, after I re-read some of yours, I thought, "I don't remember reading that". I probably didn't. The thing that bothers me is that I may have bee...
Re: Politics
Perry, the "...candidates that mock God" comment came from 99% my misreading of earlier posts and 1% sarcasm. You may not think it neccessary for an apology for me not knowing how to do the "quoty thing", but you will get one for this. I'm sorry.

Trolling was not my intention.
Re: Politics
I guess I don't see the connection between loving someone and voting for candidates that mock God.
If laws won't change people's hearts, why would it matter which law was approved?
And if that were the case, why not vote for the one closer to God's laws?
