Re: George MacDonald
Thanks Paidion. I'll check these out. I'm surprised by the lack of scholarly works concerning MacDonalds theology. You can't help but hope he is right. If so the way the church understands God would have to change radically.

Re: George MacDonald
Thanks Japne. Yes I have most of his works downloaded, and "Justice" certainly is paradigm altering and provocative. But it would be nice to have more scripture references in that article to back his opinions. Paidion would probably have some idea of scholarly works on him if anyone here would I wou...

I agree with your points Paidon. The verses do not substantially change either way. Thank you.

Re: Earliest text question
Thanks Paidion. I'm looking at 1 corinthians 14: 34-35, and am doing an article on Womens roles in the Church. I thought these verses would be a slam dunk but I'm shocked at the huge volume of conservative scholarly work done on these verses. Bruce Winters work on the Roman New Woman is especially e...

Earliest text question
Can anyone point me to a place to find what the earliest textual dates we have for various books in the NT? I'm primarily interested in 1 Corinthians textual dates for now. I believe we have no complete early texts for this book but various partial texts put together?

Re: Question for Steve
Thanks for that Steve. I'm definitely leaning toward restorationism but agree that it may well be a combination of the two. Looking back on it now, I really did not think through the traditional view very well. I just accepted it because its was all that was presented to me in my early walk. I was s...

Question for Steve
Hi Steve. I'm curious if the process of researching and writing your book on Hell has helped you personally to come to a stronger position of which view you hold now? What is your present view at this point?

Re: Doctoral dissertation on Aion
Where did you find it in PDF? I've found the book for reading online but can't find a downloadable version. For those interested in reading it online: http://www.ebookdb.org/item/12429/ Dr. Keizer has not answered my email yet. The only other way I know to get the whole dissertation in a PDF is to ...
