Regardless of hell, it seems that there is certainly a place for judgment in our presentation of the gospel (and precedent in scripture) and that topic ought to evoke some fear. I'm not saying its a primary component to the gospel message, but I think in our haste to avoid fire-and-brimstone message...

Just curious. This might be a personal type thing, but why doesn't such a potentially precise prophecy written well before the events excite you?

Feel free to freely substitute judgment for hell. In fact, "judgment" is more what I was getting at anyway.

I'm curious to discuss whether people think the topic of hell (regardless of which classical view you take on it) should have any important part of the gospel message we as Christians present? If so, how much emphasis should be placed on it?
