Re: Is it a sin to not go to church?

Happy Sabbath in Messiah! Since the Church is an organic institution established by God in Christ, a Living Body of the Faithful representing him while he is in Heaven, it seems going to church is an interesting question. If we reject joining the gathering of our fellow members in Christ, as some do...

Re: Does adultery really break the marriage bond?

hi, When asked about Marriage, Divorce and Remarriage Christ was clear. But when the Disciples understood His position they asked "how can any man wish to become married!?" Christ replied, "For some this teaching is too hard to accept." Except for the case of sexual promiscuity during the betrothal ...

Re: When did Jesus realize His deity?

Why not ask Jesus? :P He grew from His infancy in the Knowledge and Grace of God until He appeared in the Jordan Valley to meet his cousin John the Baptist.

Re: Kingdom of God/Kingdom of Heaven

Greetings, Your friend has a novel idea begun in the early 1800s. God's Dominion and Heaven's Dominion are two appellations for the same Jewish Idea. You cannot argue facts with those who cannot read the Synoptics as One Gospel of the Dominion. "Our Father" is also a Jewish way of speaking about God...

Re: Looking for a good Bible

Peace! Get a copy of the Orthodox Study Bible (OSB) published by Thomas Nelson. It is the NKJV Bible, with the Old Testament Text and Canon corrected and revised according to the Greek LXX Old Testament...cited by Christ and used by the Apostles. So you get a Complete Bible in NKJV English, but base...

Re: Using the Septuagint

Axios! I use the Greek Bible (OT/NT) exclusively for doctrine and study of the Hebrew Masoretic traditional canon established in Judaism in 90 AD at the Synod of Javni. Get the Orthodox Study Bible (OSB) published by Nelson...it is the NKJV Bible corrected to reflect the LXX Text and Full Canon. It ...

Re: Why is God's church and bible in its current condition?

When has there not been disputations, disagreements, rigorists, ascetics, puritans and separatists in Church history? There was arguments and conflicts among the Disciples when Christ was here, then arguments, conflicts and eventual splits within a few years after Christ departed for Heaven. We have...

Re: Institutional Church Membership

Greetings, The Israel of God was instituted through the Covenants by God himself...a spiritual community....an organic living Body. Re: The Lord's Eucharist Meal

I am not a Protestant, correct...but I was a Protestant until my formal education in Kione Greek, Aramaic, Hebrew and the Christian Fathers and Apologists. There was no other understanding of the Eucharist until Gnostics developed such a notion.....rejecting natural readings of the texts in the Gosp...
