Were there schools or communities of prophets that Elijah supervised?
Has the Scriptures provided reference to their numbers and where they were located? I am aware of the 100 prophets that were hidden in 50's in two different caves.
When the Lord responded to Elijah cry, there is none but I, the response was there are 7,000. Is this a reference to just prophets or the believing remnant?
I have researched on my own, yet I am not finding the particulars I was hoping for.
