Looking for an old thread

Does anyone know the whereabouts of the thread where we discussed forgiveness for quite a bit? It's the one where we kept using the example of a child molester and trusting that person again. I wanted to refer to it for a correspondence I'm having, but I can't find it either here or on the old forum.

i looked for it- and noted that on one of the threads on the old forum we were looking for it over there, as well.

I remember bringing up the book "amish grace"

Paidion was arguing that there is not true forgiveness unless there is also reconciliation (at least i think he said something like this).

we discussed whether reconciliation means full "trust"- e.g. if someone "forgives" a person who molested their child, does this mean the child should be trusted witht he molestor?

That thread must have got lost in the crash, or my word searches arent turning it up.

Yep, you're thinking of the same thread, and I thought I had seen it recently either over here or back at the old forum. My searches aren't bringing up anything, and I've tried all kinds of terms. Thanks for trying TK. Maybe we should just discuss the whole thing again? :P
