Book Recommendations

Post by ParadiseBrad » Thu May 13, 2010 1:26 pm

Some time ago ago Steve recommended a book on the subject of using the NT to interpret the OT.

WAS IT

Commentary on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament G. K. Beale (Editor) D. A. Carson (Editor)

I don't know what Steve recommended, but I have that book and use it a lot.

Since every NT book has a different contemporary author doing the evaluation of OT usage, some parts of the book are better than others. But it's definitely a neat resource.

Hi Brad & Matt :)

I recall Steve recommending Treasury of Scriptural Knowledge in a lecture.
(I use it, it's helpful, free online, here) > http://www.searchgodsword.org/com/tsk/
