What to make of the ORTHODOX Church

Steve and others,

What are the important aspects of the Orthodox church that we should be aware of? Lets have a survey of its theological and institutional strengths and weaknesses. If I'm correct, there is a large and valued component of orthodoxy that is traditions based, much like the catholic church. What role can or should traditions play in the church?
