Best postive scientific evidence for an old universe/ earth

TK, I don't know about growth rings, but I wouldn't assume if they did have growth rings that God put them there it to decieve us. What some people call growth rings, cabinet makers call grain. Maybe grain makes it strong. Maybe there are a million different reasons God made the things the way he did and we know two and of those two, we know in part. I find the language and the tone of this conversation hilarious. Not from anyone on this forum, just in General. Before the fall, I would suspect Adam and eve didn't show "signs of aging". Why does there have to be some philosophical argument between age and looking aged? When I see a person that looks 25, it doesn't cross my mind to check whether they have signs of aging. To me, a 25 year old looks like a baby that aged for 25 years. Again, the topic is funny considering that it is not relevant for salvation.
