Yes, good point Roblaine. Suffering and Pain, at times, may not be the direct effects of evil and satanic activity. It could be the indirect effects of the fall. As for MLH, it is almost a sure thing to read anything by Piper and have been at some point, introduced to calvinism. I was glancing through his book "Desiring God", and it had a whole chapter devoted to the subject "Meticulous Sovereignty".
