Recommendations for Resources on Typology via Etymology?

Does anyone have any recommendations for preterist resources that explore the typological significance of biblical events based on the etymology, homographs and homophones of the words employed in the accounts? I believe the spiritual significance of much apocalyptic imagery in the biblical record can be justified by a consideration these topics. However, aside from mentions of the most obvious cases in footnotes in study bibles and commentaries, I have not been able to find any resources whose primary focus is on the study of these topics. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
