You have the right to do so.Beyond this I support Biblical Judaism, and Messianic Judaism is different from Jews for Jesus.
How can a Jew cease to be a Jew ethnically?Many Christians believe a Jew must cease to be a Jew in order to become a Christian.
However, a Jew must cease to subscribe to the religion of Judaism, in order to become a disciple of Jesus (Christian). For a disciple of Jesus recognizes Him as the Messiah. This is denied by Judaism.
Biblical Judaism or Judaism in its true form had the expectation of a coming Messiah, and we all who believe know that Messiah to be Yeshua. This is Jewish and believed by Gentiles as well. Christians believe Jesus to be the Christ (the Messiah, God's Anointed One).
To believe in Yeshua as the Messiah one does not cease to be a Jew.
