I approached this thread by speaking of God as wholly outside of creation. Panentheism places God inside creation, rather than out. But does not place him *as* creation, as the pantheists do.

I certainly agree that he is wholly other than human being. And that his ways are not our ways.

I don't believe he is unknowable. That's part of him being *in* creation and not out.

Lots of different ways to talk about God's wholly other-ness.
When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.

Theism never denied God interacted and upheld creation. A new term seems completely unnecessary and confusing.
