I recently found these videos of Stanley Horton. For those of you who don't know, he's one of the foremost Pentecostal theologians and Pentecostal historians alive today. I had him as a prof at Central Bible College (AG) in Springfield, MO. Unfortunately, I didn't have him for any biblical courses (just Biology). He had just written his famous book on the Holy Spirit but I just couldn't quite get him into my schedule <sigh>

He was just about the last person I talked to before I left college and the AG. I had become amillennial while there and thus, could not go into AG ministry. I got counseling from "Brother Horton" (we called profs Bro & Sis back in the day) about this. Looking back, I could have asked for advice on where else I might go, but what's done is done....
Actually though, when I was explaining to him why I had become amillennial (from how I saw the scriptures), well, you know? He's such a humble and soft-spoken man. Is now, was back then. It was hard to disagree with him, he's so likeable!!!
In any event, students of the Pentecostal and/or charismatic movement(s) should find Brother Horton's interview interesting, and a blessing too. He's funny.

I should have some excerpts from another Dr. H. interview soon!
God bless you!

P.S. If you get a chance to listen & like it, please bump the thread.
