Re: And the point is what, exactly?
Brenden, I too am deeply sorry for your loss. I just prayed for you brother that the Lord would be close to you and your family during this time of grieving. Jarrod

Re: The Problem of Natural Disasters
Personally, I have a hard time thinking that God purposefully built a system that includes tsunamis, erupting volcanos, hurricanes, and tornados while simultaneously knowing that this planet would be inhabited by people who would be killed by such events. They seem like a disruption to a very good ...

Re: The Problem of Natural Disasters
This is just a thought, but I wonder if these "natural disasters" actually benefit the Earth and the ecosystems. We obviously consider them a disaster because of the loss of life and/or damage to property, and rightfully so, but I imagine God designed the tectonic plates, the atmosphere, and other n...

Re: First Baby
Whoops! Her name is Wren Elise She's beautiful! What's her name? Not hackneyed in the least... I embrace being stirred up by way of reminder the oft repeated wisdom of others Cherish these moments, as hackneyed as that sounds, it's so true. Time slips away. Now you experience something truly unique ...

First Baby
Just wanted to post, since I am so excited, about our first little girl who was undoubtedly a blessing from the Lord. She was born 8/6/14 weighting 6lb2oz at 21.3 inches long.

church.io
I was recently introduced to this great software package for churches at http://church.io and thought this would be a good place to share. It allows local bodies to maintain a directory with the feel of a social network (bible study groups, pictures, etc) that is well done and maintained. There are ...

Re: How to change avitar?
On the left menu, under Profile where you were, there should be a link for "Edit Avatar." Hopefully it looks something like this. I should probably be able to figure this out but when I go to "User Control Panel" and look at my Profile, I can't see any method for uploading a new photo of myself. Wha...

Re: Francis Chan *Crazy Love*
I also really enjoyed reading Crazy Love... it's unfortunate that what the type of life and love that is considered crazy should be somewhat of a norm for most disciples. Hearing the testimonies of God working in his life are my most favorite parts as they stir up love and good works in my own. Jarrod

Re: Newspaper Exegesis
Soulsnaxx, you are awesome for creating and sharing these! Thank you brother. I just heard him go into more detail on this topic as I was listening to the GCS lectures on Rev 11 so I guess this type of thinking has been prevalent since "global" TV networks were in place. I still have difficulty iden...
