I thought it was a good story. In particular, I liked the way the book expressed God's love for humanity.

On the down side, I didn't like the way the book ended. It seemed like the author got tired of writing and said, "They all lived happily ever after, the end."

I just picked up Eusebius' The Church History, as well. The version I have is "translated" by Paul L. Maier. More of a paraphrase, but for a dumb lug like me, it is a whole lot easier to read.

I would have to agree as well that it isn't evenhanded and probably is only defending itself against full-preterism. (Possibly broad-brushing all preterists as full-preterists) I do think that there are some arguements common to both full and partial preterism that hopefully would be addressed. I kn...

Hi Aaron,
I just listened to "The Cutting Edge:2 Kings 6". It was fantastic! In fact, that was exactly the thing I really needed to hear. (Odd isn't it?)

Thank you very much for the suggestion :)

God bless!

Hi Aaron (and MLH too!) Speaking of Courson putting an interesting "twist" on things. Have you ever listened to his teachings on Leviticus? He made what is considered by many people to be a very boring book quite exciting. Two of my personal favorites are: Leviticus 1-7 The Resurrection: A Bird's-Ey...
